Washington, D.C. is an exciting place to visit with families and friends. You can learn and experience, first hand, the rich history of America as you visit historic sites, monuments, memorials, museums, and events around the city.

I hope you enjoy your visit to D.C. and please be sure to drop by and say hello while you are here!  My door is always open!

Per tradition, the White House Visitor Center (the office that coordinates with Congressional offices to schedule tours) is temporarily closed due to the Presidential Administration transition process. Therefore, please be mindful that while my office continues to accept White House tour requests, we are unable to submit requests until this office reopens.  Folks have asked me when the White House Visitor office will reopen and resume accepting tour requests.  Unfortunately, we have not been given a time frame.  The White House is tending to routine maintenance, updates, and renovations along the tour route to ensure the best guest experience. We will be updating the website and Facebook page with any new updates, so please check back for any new details.

I understand this can be a frustrating situation when planning you visit to our Nation's Capital, and I apologize for any inconvenience.  Please know that my staff and I still encourage you to submit your tour request form, and we are happy to schedule a tour of the United States Capitol and the newly refurbished Rotunda.
